Daycare Assistant Teacher
**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our care. **Duties:** - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education principles and promote the interests and abilities of each child. - Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs, ensuring that their needs are met and their growth is monitored. - Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages socialization, exploration, and creativity. - Manage classroom activities, transitions, and routines, ensuring a smooth and organized daily schedule. - Provide childcare services to children from infancy to preschool age, including activities such as arts, music, and outdoor play. - Maintain accurate records of daily activities, meal times, and any incidents that may have occurred. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education. - Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, administering first aid when necessary. - Collaborate with other childcare professionals and support staff to provide a comprehensive and nurturing environment. **Qualifications:** - A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or equivalent experience. - A strong background in childcare and a demonstrated ability to work with children of varying ages and abilities. - Experience in a daycare or childcare setting, with a focus on providing high-quality care and education to young children. - Proven experience in classroom management and creating engaging and interactive lesson plans. - Ability to work effectively with children, including those with special needs. - Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques. - A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education. - A passion for nurturing and educating young children, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
