Cardiology Hospitalist opening in Rockford, ILFull Time and Permanent EmploymentJob Description: We are seeking two Cardiology Hospitalists to join a well-established and growing program at a 350-bed tertiary care hospital with a state-of-the-art Heart Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a physician-led group providing excellent cardiology care to patients in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.Position Highlights:Exciting New Program: Two new Cardiology Hospitalist positions to expand the existing team.Schedule: Seven days on, seven days off schedule.Collaborative Team: Join a team of 10 cardiologists (four non-interventional, four interventional, and two electrophysiologists) supported by Advanced Practice Providers.State-of-the-Art Facilities: Work in a dedicated Heart Hospital with on-site diagnostics, catheterization lab, and surgical suites.Advanced Procedures: Perform procedures such as Watchman, CardioMEMS, ASD/PFO Closure, and TAVR.Comprehensive Services: Access to Cardiac MRI and CT, as well as involvement in cardiac diagnostic interpretations.Established Patient Base: Serve a robust cardiology service line with a population of 750,000 covering a 12-county referral region.Qualifications:MD or DO, Board-certified or Board-eligible in Cardiology.Must obtain Illinois medical and DEA licenses prior to hire.Board certification required within five years of residency completion.Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $600,000 with wRVU production and additional incentives.Flexible Insurance Package: Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance options.Generous Vacation & CME Benefits.Retirement Plan: Match and contributions.Professional Society Dues: Including credentialing and hospital dues.Interview & Relocation Expenses.Malpractice Coverage: Including tail coverage.Provider Referral Bonus.Potential Opportunities for Additional Compensation.About the Location: The Greater Rockford area offers an exceptional quality of life, including world-class attractions, cultural amenities, and outdoor recreational activities.
