Job Description Early Childhood Assistant Guide (Montessori School)We are seeking a caring, dedicated Early Childhood Assistant Guide to support our Montessori classroom community and help deliver high-quality, student-centered learning experiences. This role works closely with the Lead Guide and School Principal to support an instructional program grounded in Montessori philosophy and anti-bias/anti-racist education.Key Responsibilities:Support the Lead Guide in delivering Montessori-based instructionAssist individual students and small groups with classroom activitiesHelp maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming Montessori classroom environmentObserve and support student behavior and developmentPrepare instructional materials and assist with lesson implementationSupervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and specials (PE, music, art)Model respectful, professional, and ethical behavior at all timesQualifications:Degree in education, early childhood development, or related field preferredAt least one year of experience working with children (special needs experience preferred)Commitment to whole-child education and student-centered learningStrong alignment with anti-bias and anti-racist valuesFlexible, patient, and collaborativeCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationWe pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming Montessori environment where students and staff thrive.
