This full-time, day-shift float position allows you to deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team. You'll deliver physical therapy interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, soft tissue mobility, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction. You'll instruct patients on proper use of assistive devices including wheelchairs, crutches, canes, braces, and prosthetic appliances.Your role includes preparing comprehensive documentation such as evaluation results, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries. You'll communicate regularly with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans and recommend program modifications based on patient progress. You'll provide guidance to support staff assisting with patient care and participate in department quality initiatives, safety protocols, and infection control measures.You'll maintain department equipment and supplies, attend required meetings and committees, and assist with patient transport as needed.
