Outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R) / Physiatrist â€" EMG/NCS Focused OpportunityLocation: Elmira, NYBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible PM&RA respected medical center serving the Horseheads/Corning/Elmira, NY area with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centered care is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician / Physiatrist with expertise in electromyography (EMG/NCS) to join its growing multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, outpatient position offering the opportunity to focus on diagnostic EMG/NCS services within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Position Highlights†Join a multidisciplinary team of specialists in orthopedics, neurology, pain management, and rehabilitation.†Perform and interpret EMG and nerve conduction studies (NCS) as part of comprehensive diagnostic services.†Provide outpatient care focused on musculoskeletal medicine and physical rehabilitation.†Diagnose and treat patients with injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions affecting musculoskeletal health, including procedures such as joint and trigger point injections.†Collaborate with primary care, surgical, neurological, and musculoskeletal teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.†Access advanced diagnostic technology and experienced clinical support staff.†Opportunity to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents through an academic affiliation.†Mondayâ€"Friday schedule with no inpatient or call responsibilities. Candidate Requirements†M.D. or D.O. degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.†Fellowship training or significant clinical experience in EMG/NCS required.†Active or eligible New York State medical license.†Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.†Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
