OverviewThe People & Culture Partner is the strategic engine of our People function — embedded in the business to elevate leadership capability, strengthen culture, and drive performance across all venues.This is not an HR role. This is a business partnership role with People expertise. You will serve as the go to contact for Venue Leaders ensuring they are ready for anything their day may bring.Core ResponsibilitiesPeople Strategy & LeadershipServe as trusted advisor to Operations and executive leadersTranslate business goals into People priorities and action plansCoach leaders on accountability, engagement, performance, and developmentAssist as needed with onboarding, offboarding, I-9 / E-Verify, personnel files, and HRIS accuracyAssist as needed with benefits administration, life events, leaves, workers’ comp, and unemployment paperworkPerformance & TalentOwn performance management cycles, calibration, and talent reviewsBuild leadership pipeline for OP, AOP, and KM rolesEnsure we are developing a bench for the Special Ops Team and developing that talentLead succession planning, development programs, and internal mobilityCompliance, Employee Relations & RiskLead complex employee relations cases and investigationsPartner with operators on terminations, performance actions, and sensitive mattersEnsure compliance and consistent application of People policiesUse Legal Resources when needed on complext issuesMaintain OSHA logs, injury reports, training records, and policy acknowledgementsPartner with insurance carriers and vendors on claims documentation and follow-upCulture & EngagementChampion the PopStroke WayDesign and execute engagement, recognition, and leadership communication strategiesLead culture resets in new, growing, or struggling venuesSupport recognition programs, celebrations, and internal communicationsAssist with People initiatives, training days, and culture momentsBe a culture driver and resource for all leaders and venuesOperational PartnershipPartner with Recruiting, Ops, Training, and Special Ops teamsSupport store openings, turnarounds, and leadership transitionsAnalyze trends and provide executive-level insightIdeal Candidate8–12+ years in HRBP / People Partner / HR Director rolesProven success in multi-unit hospitality, retail, or operations-heavy environmentsExecutive presence, high EQ, and strong business acumenKnown for building leaders, not just managing issuesBachelors Degree RequiredMasters Degree PreferredEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, where permitted by law.About PopStrokePopStroke is a founder-led brand built by people who believe energy creates results and culture creates momentum.
