This is an exciting opportunity to be part of arevitalized campus and expanding specialty service line, focused on delivering high-quality musculoskeletal and spine care to the community.Reporting to department leadership and working under the supervision of a Physiatrist, the PA will play a key role in bothdirect patient care and program development, helping to build and shape PM&R services at BMC Brighton.Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care inoutpatient clinic and inpatient consult settingsPerformhistory and physical exams, develop diagnoses, and implement treatment plansOrder and interpretdiagnostic studiesincluding imaging, labs, EMG, and nerve conduction studies (NCS)Performmusculoskeletal (MSK) injections, including ultrasound-guided proceduresAssist withspecialized procedures(e.g., Botox, spine-related interventions)Conductinpatient consultations, rounding, and discharge planningCollaborate with physicians onspine triage and care pathwaysManagelongitudinal care for complex rehabilitation and spine patientsEducate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectationsComplete timely documentation, orders, andprescribing (DEA required)Performpeer-to-peer insurance reviewsto support timely care deliveryCoordinate care across departments to ensureefficient, patient-centered outcomesSupportreferring provider outreach and service line growth initiativesTrack clinical outcomes and contribute toquality improvement efforts Why Join BMC Brighton? However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
