Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a mixed-acuity ICU/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience, ACLS, and Epic proficiency on a rotating 3x12 schedule.Job Details• Mixed-acuity ICU/PCU unit in a hospital setting with 24 staffed beds,• Medically-focused unit caring for critically ill (ICU) and acutely ill (PCU) patients requiring advanced cardiac care,• Patient population includes unstable pre-heart transplants, heart failure requiring vasopressor support, acute MIs, unstable post-interventional cardiology patients, post-arrest targeted temperature management, and patients requiring invasive hemodynamics,• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:1-2:1 for ICU-level patients and 1:3 for PCU-level patients,• Nursing assignments are made on a shift-to-shift basis based on patient acuity and staff skill level,• Rotating 3x12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00-19:00 / Nights: 19:30-7:30),• Various days of the week; weekend availability required per unit needs,• Floating required based on unit, division, and facility need,• No on-call required,• Charting via Epic,Job Requirements• Active CO RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand,• Minimum 2 years of ICU/PCU nursing experience required,• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Navy blue scrubs required,• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved for the contract duration,• RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: March 14-21, May 8-11, May 21-27, and June 28-July 9,
