Senior Procurement Specialist
Job Summary:The Senior Procurement Specialist will support strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives by managing supplier relationships, analyzing sourcing data, and leading cross-functional projects. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills to drive cost-effective procurement strategies. The position involves working closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure supplier compliance and project success.Key Responsibilities:• Lead and manage multiple procurement and supply chain projects simultaneously• Analyze supplier quotes, bids, and proposals to recommend cost-effective solutions• Conduct sourcing activities for vendors supporting mechanical and electrical components• Lead contract negotiations and vendor onboarding processes• Manage purchase orders, procurement requests, and supplier communications• Track project milestones, timelines, and cost savings metrics• Develop reports and present insights to leadership and executive teams• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier compliance and quality standards• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies• Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, sourcing decisions, and supplier performance• Support tariff mitigation and second sourcing strategies• Provide data analysis and visualization to support decision-making• Communicate project status and resolve issues with stakeholders across functionsRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or project management• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level reporting• Experience with supplier negotiations and vendor management• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsPreferred Qualifications:• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices or manufacturing• Prior experience in procurement analysis or sourcing roles• Familiarity with supplier risk management and cost optimization strategiesBenefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $45/hr to $50/hr
