Job SummaryResponsible for providing musical opportunities for high school students playing violin, viola, cello, and bass as part of the orchestra.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesFacilitates all after school/weekend rehearsals and concerts, PMEA District 7/Region V/State Orchestra auditions and festivals, York County Orchestra rehearsals and festivals, Tri-M induction ceremonies, and Solo/Small Ensemble concerts.Plans, participates, and supervises multiple-day trips to non-local destinations for the purpose of exposing students to significant cultural and educational events and places and providing performance opportunities.Plans, organizes, instructs, and supervises students, and preparing students for orchestra auditions and festivals.Performs other duties as required by the administration.
