We partner with corporations, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions to deliver practical, high-impact training and consulting solutions that strengthen safety, security, and resilience.At CPPS, we are committed to empowering people and organizations through education, preparation, and actionable safety strategies.Position OverviewCPPS is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Learning Experience Designer to design and develop engaging, outcome-focused training experiences.This role blends instructional design, eLearning development, and multimedia production. The ideal candidate is comfortable both designing learning strategies and building interactive, media-rich content that brings those strategies to life.This position works closely with clients, subject matter experts, and internal team members to deliver high-quality training solutions aligned with real-world performance outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Design and Learning StrategyDesign and develop eLearning, microlearning, and instructor-led training using models such as ADDIE and SAMConduct needs assessments and translate business goals into effective learning solutions, such as selecting appropriate learning modalities (eLearning, video, instructor-led, blended) based on audience, environment, and objectivesWrite storyboards, scripts, and learner materials aligned to measurable outcomesDevelop scenario-based and interactive learning experiencesTranslate complex topics into engaging and accessible learning experienceseLearning Development and Media ProductionBuild interactive eLearning courses using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative SuiteDesign and develop media-rich learning experiences that integrate video, animation, and interactive elementsProduce and edit video content, screen recordings, and visual assets for training and digital learningEnsure all media aligns with CPPS branding, instructional goals, and quality standardsOptimize and publish eLearning content for LMS delivery, including SCORM compliance and functionality testingPartner with clients to scope projects, define learning objectives, and align on timeline expectationsFacilitate feedback cycles and manage revisions to ensure high-quality deliverablesContent, LMS, and Platform SupportSupport updates to training-related website content and learning assetsAssist with LMS uploads, QA testing, and troubleshootingMaintain organized media libraries and reusable assetsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all learning materialsQualifications3+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or a related field preferredStrong knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning strategiesRequired: Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop); experience with LMS platforms such as TalentLMS preferred.Portfolio demonstrating eLearning development (Articulate Storyline or similar) and at least one example of multimedia or video-based learningFamiliarity with AI tools to support content development or workflow efficiencyExperience developing multimedia content, including video and interactive modulesFamiliarity with SCORM, LMS platforms, and basic web content managementStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExperience with video production, including filming, editing, or post-production for training or digital contentProfessional written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with clients or stakeholders preferredWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleThe ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and communicate clearly across teams and clients.
