As competitors get better and faster at trying to copy us, we look for new ways to communicate our product stories in a way that stands out and resonates with our customers.About the RoleWe’re looking for a passionate Copywriter to join our busy collaborative marketing team. You will be delivering copy for daily email campaigns, product descriptions on our website, advertisements, catalogs, and landing pages. As part of your role, you will learn what we do at ThermoWorks and why customers choose our products. You will learn what motivates our customers, both home users and businesses, and craft copy that communicates how our products will elevate their cooking and improve their lives.**This position is onsite, Monday - Friday**Essential Responsibilities: Write clear, concise copy for product pages, websites, emails, advertisements, press releases, landing pages, catalogs, social media, etcDraft subject lines and calls to action for daily emailsEnsure message delivered matches format and brandWrite scripts for videosResearch the SEO-value of keyword sets for strategic implementationManage timelines for marketing catalogs and campaignsCollaborate with team members on marketing videos, campaigns, launches, etcInterview thought leaders inside and outside the company to write education piecesPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Please provide writing samples and be ready to participate in a test project3+ years of copywriting experienceExperience converting technical/product specifications into sales copy, a plusAt least a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, English, or related programSuperb writing, research, editing, and proofreading skills under deadlineStrong background in SEO research, implementation and trackingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailInterest or background in food or cooking a plus
