Manufacturing Associate
Manufacturing Associate Day Shift | Offers Benefits | Medical Device CompanyThis position involves transforming frozen plasma into freeze-dried plasma. The role requires handling frozen plasma, thawing it, and transferring it to a lyophilizer for moisture extraction. The repackaging process takes place in the kitting room, with all units meticulously tracked in a BECS system. Attention to detail and experience in a GMP environment are crucial.ResponsibilitiesChampion a safety-driven culture and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.Manufacture, inspect, and package products according to written processes.Meet or exceed established time standards while ensuring product quality.Build, inspect, and package products using applicable equipment, performing visual, dimensional, time, and documentation checks.Identify quality issues or workmanship deficiencies related to equipment, assembly, inspection processes, materials, and sub-assemblies.Comply with GMP requirements by maintaining training records and completing data entry in production records accurately and timely.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Comply with all policies and procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsLife Science Degree (biology, biochemistry, genetics, chemistry, etc.) preferred, but not required.6+ months experience working in a GMP environment.Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Employees will be on their feet for most of the day and must adhere to PPE SOPs. The standard work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of work on Fridays if needed. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in an innovative, life-saving product, with potential growth into leadership or engineering, regulatory, and quality roles in the future.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
