This role ensures operational excellence by supervising warehouse team members to meet productivity goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.ResponsibilitiesTeam Supervision & Performance ManagementSupervise and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, assembling, conditioning, inventory handling, and deliveryEnsure team members meet pieces-per-hour goals while maintaining safety and quality standardsDefine quality and performance measures, monitor execution of strategies, and drive continuous improvementSafety & Compliance ManagementImplement and enforce warehouse safety and security programs and activitiesConduct daily evaluations of housekeeping, security, and sanitation levelsEnsure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety rules and proceduresInspect physical conditions of warehouse and equipment, reporting maintenance, repair, or replacement needsQuality Assurance & Operational StandardsEnforce standard operating procedures for picking, receiving, handling, storing, and salvaging productsConduct receiving audits and physically inspect product locations for errors or quality issuesReview 6S evaluation scores to ensure sustainability of operational processesPrevent damage to product, equipment, and facilitiesCustomer Service & Pick-Up OperationsSupervise customer pick-up tasks including locating, picking, inspecting, and loading productEnsure proper conduct, presentation, and professionalism when working with customersVerify employees utilize appropriate customer service techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelinesTraining & Employee DevelopmentEducate and mentor staff in best practices for receiving, storing, and picking productsConduct training sessions and assist with employee development programsMonitor team members' adherence to dress code and professionalism standardsInventory Management & Product ConsolidationOversee product consolidation activitiesEnsure accurate inventory handling and storage procedures are followedAudit product movement and location accuracyCore Values & Professional StandardsDemonstrate company Core and Growth Values in all job functionsEnforce day-to-day operational standards and professionalism throughout the warehouseMaintain warehouse security, cleanliness, and organizationQualificationsEducationHigh School, Diploma or equivalentExperience1 year working in a warehouse environment required1-10 months of inventory control preferred6 months of supervisory experienceWork EnvironmentThis position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
