Job SummaryThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and a safe, organized work environment. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse staff, supports logistics coordination, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.Supervisory Responsibilities : NoJob Classification: 1099 Independent ContractorDuty Station : Hillsborough County, FLTravel : Up to 10%Duties/ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shippingLead, train, and support warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accuracyMonitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systemsOversee the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and qualityEnsure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of ordersMaintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standardsEnforce company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulationsIdentify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errorsCoordinate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to meet organizational needsAssist with scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring of warehouse personnelRequired Skills/Abilities Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processesExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience Required: High School Diploma/GEDRequired: Minimum 2 years of logistics warehouse experienceRequired: Current/valid Forklift certificationRequired: ICS and NIMS compliant training (e.g. ICS: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800)Preferred: Experience in emergency management, disaster response, or large-scale logistics operationsPreferred: Familiarity with technical, legal, or medical terminologyPhysical Requirements Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularlyWarehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and conditionsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerProlonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reachingThis role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as neededAbout ChloetaChloeta is a Native American owned enterprise providing a diverse range of engineering, scientific, and technical solutions to support military, energy, homeland security, emergency preparedness, and critical infrastructure requirements.
