Java Developer
Overview
As a Java Developer in Michigan, you will design, build and maintain scalable applications in an Agile setting. You’ll work on RESTful microservices and cloud-driven solutions, integrating with AWS services and a modern CI/CD pipeline. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, well-tested software and drive production readiness. This role offers the chance to shape backend architecture and leverage a broad Java stack in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilitiesdesign, code, test, maintain and debug applications in an Agile environmentdevelop RESTful microservices with Spring framework and related techimplement and operate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments to productionbuild and maintain services using AWS components (ECS, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Aurora, ALB, Route 53)work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Git/Bitbucket) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)perform testing with JUnit and Cucumber; monitor with logging tools (Splunk) and APMutilize frameworks and services like Spring Boot, JPA, Web Services/SOA, MQcollaborate with teams using Jira and Confluence for planning and documentationapply Terraform for infrastructure automationfocus on reliability and scalability of microservices architecture
