Social Media Manager Job Description  Location: On-Site in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge - Revel Group (Overseeing Anakeesta & WildSide) Job Overview:  The Revel Group is looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Social Media Manager to lead the social voice of two of the Smokies’ most exciting adventure brands, Anakeesta and WildSide. This role blends big-picture thinking with day-to-day execution. You will shape our social strategy, bring our experiences to life through content, and engage with our audience in a way that feels authentic, energetic, and on-brand. If you love storytelling, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy being on-site to capture the action, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities:  Strategy and Planning Develop and execute social media strategies for Anakeesta and WildSide Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, events, and seasonal priorities Identify trends, opportunities, and platform innovations to keep our brands fresh and relevant Content and Execution Oversee daily posting across all social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Capture and create content on-site including photo, video, and real-time storytelling Collaborate with internal photographer and videographer to produce high-quality content Ensure individual brand voices and visual consistency across both properties Community and Engagement Manage community engagement including comments and messages in a timely and brand-aligned way Monitor sentiment and provide insights to leadership Influencer and Partnerships Lead influencer outreach and relationship management Coordinate visits, itineraries, and deliverables for creators Track performance and return on investment of influencer campaigns Analytics and Optimization Track and report on performance metrics including engagement, reach, growth, and conversions Use insights to optimize content, posting strategy, and campaigns Balance data-driven decision making with strong creative instincts On-Site Presence Attend events, activations, and key moments to capture live content Act as the social presence on property  Skills:  Strong content creation across photo, video, and copy Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Ability to spot trends and create relevant, on-brand content Clear and engaging copywriting skills Strong community management and audience engagement Influencer outreach and relationship management Strong organization and project management skills Data-driven mindset with the ability to adjust strategy Qualifications:  3-5+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing Experience working with consumer-facing brands, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle Proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences Experience creating and editing content using mobile devices and editing tools Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools Experience coordinating influencer campaigns and partnerships Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred but not required Ability to work on-site regularly in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and attend events as needed Perks of Working With Us: Competitive payPaid time off Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Free admission for employees and immediate family Generous pass exchange program with area attractions
