DevOps Engineer

Technical Operations/Release EngineerLooking for a Technical Operations/Release Engineer to manage, maintain and expand our Amazon Web Service (AWS) based systems and the supporting processes, procedures and tools. This person will be a key contributor to both the stability and expansion of internally and externally facing products and services.Typical Day:Triage issuesWork alongside software engineers to build and maintain developer operation processes and proceduresOversee code deployment pipelinesOversee our AWS infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code toolsAssist in manual quality assurance activitiesAssist in the creation of automated testing processesAs a member of the engineering team, contribute to planning and execution efforts across our applications as neededHaving your code reviewed and participate in code reviews, standups, retros, other SCRUM activitiesRequired Skills:A Bachelors in CS or equivalent experienceAt least 2 years professional development experience using Amazon Web ServicesAt least 2 years professional experience managing Windows and Linux based serversAt least 2 years professional experience using Python, BASH or similar scripting languageStrong familiarity with multi-tier web applicationsBright, motivated, passionate engineers who want to work with the same and are open-minded about applying the best tool for the job and solving real problems for real usersBonus but not Required:Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc.Experience with code deployment tools, i.e. Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.Experience managing Postgres or MySQL databasesExperience within a HIPAA bound organizationAdditional Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
