Pediatric Body Radiologist

Job Description We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time pediatric body radiologist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.About Our Team:The Radiology Department at our organization is comprised of 31 dedicated radiologists, categorized into various specialties: Body (14), Neuro (7), Interventional Radiology (6), and Emergency (3). The Emergency Radiology section manages overnight image assessments and consultations. Fluoroscopy duties are shared among the Body imaging team on a 1:13 rotation. Each radiologist is equipped with a complete home PACS workstation, and we promote a hybrid work model that allows for a blend of on-site and remote shifts. Currently, each radiologist is expected to be on-site approximately one day per week.Subspecialty Practice:Our Pediatric Body imaging section is a collaborative group of pediatric radiologists with specialized knowledge in areas such as Cardiac, Fetal, Musculoskeletal, and Nuclear Medicine/PET. While subspecialty training is preferred for this role, we warmly welcome applications from recent fellowship graduates.All interventional procedures and neuroimaging tasks are managed by our dedicated interventional and neuroradiology teams.Research and Education:Our Radiology faculty members hold positions at the University of Arizona College of Medicine (Phoenix), Mayo Clinic (Scottsdale), and Creighton University School of Medicine (Phoenix). We have a vibrant teaching and research program that includes three ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship positions, along with two additional non-accredited fellowships (Neuro and Interventional Radiology). Our team also includes fellows, residents, and medical students from affiliated Radiology programs. We maintain a Master Research Agreement with Philips Health Tech, which supports a robust clinical translational research initiative focused on the early-stage development of imaging hardware and software applications. A full-time Imaging Scientist with a PhD and a dedicated research coordinator are available to assist with Radiology research endeavors.Growth and Expansion in the Phoenix Valley:As the Phoenix Metro Area experiences rapid population growth, our organization is expanding its presence with several new medical campuses. A new pediatric hospital and medical office building satellite center is set to open in early 2026, bringing the total number of new satellite centers to three. Each of these locations will feature full-service radiology departments, providing outpatient and 24/7 inpatient and emergency department services, staffed by our Pediatric Radiologists.In anticipation of the increased demand for imaging services, we are actively seeking to recruit additional pediatric radiologists.
