Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer
Join a hospital team in Foxborough, MA as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer). Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images, communicate sonographer impressions to interpreting physicians, and participate in departmental initiatives to support high-quality patient care. Perform patient verification, prepare equipment and rooms, explain exams to patients, and collaborate with leadership to optimize patient flow. Participate in call, holiday, and shift rotations as required. May rotate among main campus and community locations with appropriate training. Minimum Qualifications: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer diploma or Diagnostic Imaging certificate required. Associate's degree in Diagnostic Imaging preferred. State Radiologic Technologist or Technician license (where applicable) preferred. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification preferred. ARRT Sonography (R.T.(S)(ARRT)) preferred. Ultrasound scanning experience with multiple patient populations preferred (2-3 years preferred). Leadership experience preferred (0-1 year preferred). BLS certification required. Ability to perform clinical ultrasound exams, modify scan techniques for image quality, and participate in research, quality assurance, and quality improvement projects. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with PACS, EHRs, and reporting systems. Experience instructing or supervising sonographers, students, or professional staff. Assignment Details Shift Hours: 07:30-16:00. Shift Days: Days.
