Job Description SummaryThe Senior Finance Manager, Transactional Services ("TX") is a critical commercial & operations finance role within the Wind Services Strategic Finance organization, tasked with partnering with the Commercial team to underwrite and sign economically sound deals, driving execution velocity from order through cash collection, and owning the TX financial close and results from an FP&A standpoint. This role sits at the intersection of Commercial, Operations, and Finance - equal parts deal partner, forecast owner, and executive storyteller. You will surface clear Risks and Opportunities from both the commercial pipeline and execution portfolio, partnering closely with the new TX Controllership team on accounting scope and close coordination. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, rigorous financial discipline, and the ability to communicate with confidence across all levels of the organization.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Deal Underwriting & Commercial PartnershipPartner with the Commercial team to evaluate deal economics — cost-to-serve informed pricing, margin assessment, and risk profiling on all active opportunitiesOwn terms governance for TX — ensure alignment to standard contract terms, lead deviation approvals, and structure payment plans that protect Wind Services' financial positionDrive incremental deal value through proactive identification of commercial finance opportunities — obsolescence inventory monetization, service bundling, and payment structure optimizationServe as a value-add finance partner in the deal process, bringing solutions and financial rigor without becoming a bottleneckPipeline Visibility & ForecastTranslate the commercial funnel into pacing and forecast inputs for the broader Wind Services FP&A processOwn Transactional Services revenue, cost, and cash forecast — bottoms-up from deal pipeline with clear assumption documentationTrack OTR milestones from order through cash collection; drive conversion velocity, identify delays, and escalate risks early in coordination with TX OTR LeaderClose Reporting & Controllership AlignmentOwn the TX financial close from the FP&A standpoint — actuals vs. plan commentary, variance bridges, and close reporting packagesPartner with the TX Controllership team on accounting scope — creating clear visibility on accounting and journal entries, with this role owning the FP&A business partnership and executive narrative based on what is in the ledgerMaintain ongoing alignment with Controllership on close calendar, accruals visibility, accounting methodologies and any items with P&L / cash impactExecutive R&O ReportingSynthesize the commercial pipeline and execution portfolio into clear, action-oriented Risks and Opportunities for Wind Services leadershipOwn the TX finance narrative in executive business reviews — proactive, decisive, and always tied to a clear ask or recommended actionPartner with the Strategic Finance Leader on escalation path for deal risk, margin concerns, and cash conversion issuesOperations & ProcessEstablish robust financial processes for deal desk governance, OTR tracking, close coordination, and data integrityDrive simplification and automation within TX finance workflows in partnership with the broader team's transformation agendaConduct ad hoc analysis and problem-solving in a fast-paced, deal-driven environmentQualifications / RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university5+ years of experience in roles with increasing Finance, Commercial Finance, or FP&A responsibilitiesExperience with ITO/OTR processes and deal economics in a services or industrial business environmentDesired CharacteristicsPrior GEV or GE Services finance experience — familiarity with Wind Services commercial and operational processes is a significant advantageStrong commercial instincts — comfortable influencing deal decisions and partnering directly with Commercial leadershipExcellent executive communication skills — this role presents to senior leadership regularly and must translate complex financial and operating dynamics into clear narrativesProven track record of execution, problem-solving, and operating effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong analytical skill set with experience in financial modeling, variance analysis, and forecast managementExperience working with modern workflow automation, big data and AI toolsNoteTo comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
