This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar while creating a positive dining and social experience within the community.The ideal candidate is friendly, engaging, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and resident satisfaction.Essential FunctionsPrepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with community standardsVerify age requirements and responsibly serve alcoholic beveragesMaintain knowledge of classic cocktails, beverage pairings, and drink preparation techniquesProvide outstanding customer service and respond to resident and guest requests promptly and professionallyMaintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and work areasEnsure bar supplies and inventory are properly stocked and organizedCoordinate with dining team members to maintain smooth service and dining room appearanceAssist servers with beverage orders and support dining operations as neededClear tables and assist with dining room upkeep during and after meal serviceFollow presentation standards and maintain a polished, professional appearancePromote a warm, inviting, and hospitality-focused dining atmosphereFollow all community policies, procedures, and Residents’ Rights guidelinesPerform opening and closing duties as assignedComplete additional duties as assigned by leadershipQualificationsMust be at least 21 years of ageBASSET/VASA alcohol-service training requiredPrevious bartending or hospitality experience preferredKnowledge of beverage preparation, cocktails, and customer service standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentProfessional appearance and positive attitudeAbility to maintain organization and attention to detailPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry trays, supplies, and bar items as neededAbility to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team membersAbility to work under pressure in a busy hospitality environmentAdditional RequirementsAbility to comply with community health and safety requirementsParticipation in health screenings or vaccinations as required by state or community guidelines, including approved exemptions where applicableSolera Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
