A deep understanding of ingredients, presentation, and timing is essential, along with a collaborative mindset and respect for the hierarchy of the kitchen. The candidate should demonstrate passion for hospitality and take pride in contributing to an elevated guest experience through consistently exceptional cuisine.Receives and prepares beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.Essential Job Functions:Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous mannerReceive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail serversKnow what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as "comped" beveragesMix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipesMaintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, and napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping bar topMaintain and replenish ice supplyOperate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bankNever serve two drinks at the same time to one person -- never a beer and a shotBe aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care trainingOther reasonable duties as assignedSalary Range: $11.40-$18 + TipsAmerican Place Casino is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
