Ocean Export Coordinator

A well-established international freight forwarder is looking to add an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to its growing Chicago team.This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will take full ownership of ocean export shipments and play a key role in delivering high-quality service to global clients.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end ocean export shipments (FCL & LCL)Coordinate bookings with carriers, agents, and clientsPrepare and process export documentation (B/L, AES filings, invoices, etc.)Ensure compliance with international shipping regulationsTrack shipments and provide timely updates to customersResolve any shipment issues proactively and efficientlyWork closely with internal teams including pricing and operationsWhat We’re Looking For:2+ years’ experience in ocean export within a freight forwarding environmentStrong knowledge of export documentation and complianceExperience handling FCL and LCL shipmentsFamiliarity with systems such as CargoWise (preferred)Strong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident communicator with a customer-focused mindsetWhy Apply:Join a stable, globally recognised logistics providerSupportive team environment with clear structureOpportunity to grow within a well-established operationCompetitive salary and benefits package
