Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Tacoma, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,793 to $1,987 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Thrive Staffing to find a qualified PICU RN in Tacoma, Washington, 98405!Job Title: Registered Nurse - PICUCity/State: Tacoma, WashingtonShift: 12H Days, 07:00 - 19:00Contract Length: 12 weeksStart Date: 05/04/2026Job Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with responsibilities including management of ventilators, trachs, g-tubes, chest tubes, and patient discharge. Experience in respiratory, cardiovascular, and trauma patient care required.Responsibilities: Provide care for respiratory patients, including high flow oxygen and CPAP/BiPAP. Manage tracheostomies, g-tubes, feeding tubes, and chest tubes. Administer chemo, insulin drips for diabetes management, and other intravenous medications. Assist in the care of trauma patients and those with congenital heart defects. Float to MedSurg or ED as needed for additional support.Requirements: Minimum 2 years of PICU experience. Proficiency in aseptic and sterile techniques, ventilator management, and critical care skills. BLS and PALS certifications required. Experience with CRRT and Prismax preferred.
