Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Tele Job Details: - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - 36 or 48 weekly guaranteed hours available - Weekend requirements: every other weekend as required by facility - No call requirements - 13-week assignment length - Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units - Required: current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure, BLS and ACLS from AHA only - Minimum 1 year cardiac telemetry experience required (inpatient only) - Patient ratios: nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, varies) - Work with 32-bed telemetry unit using EPIC EMR system - Equipment includes lift equipment, bladder scanner, interpreter iPad, BiPAP monitoring - Care for patients with CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias, respiratory issues, renal conditions, hemodialysis patients - Experience required with Amio and Cardizem drips, central lines (HD catheters, Ports, PICCs) - Handle overflow patients including sepsis, urology, surgical, ETOH/drug withdrawals, isolation cases - Must read telemetry and work in fast-paced, high acuity environment - Dress code: black scrub tops and pants with Mercy cross logo required - Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire orientation week Facility: This healthcare organization has been serving the South St. Louis County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
