Field Engineer - Night Shift

Strengthen every project.In this role, you'll provide technical support and drive sales by partnering with designers and specifiers to solve complex challenges using Hilti solutions. You'll secure commitments for specification or approval of Hilti engineered products, consult on innovative designs, and help customers build smarter, stronger, and more sustainably—while protecting projects with sound engineering judgment. This is where collaboration meets impact, and your expertise shapes the future of construction.Face to face, telephone, and electronic communication with territory salesperson, strategic business personnel, sales managers, contractors, designers, specifiers, or officials of codes and approvalsCompetent written communication with customers (buying and non-buying); Visit jobsites and company offices with or without salespeople or strategic business personnel to assess application problems, opportunities, and provide technical education and solutionsInvestigate product failures in the field and provide product management feedback on local issues as neededInvestigate business opportunities in the field by participating in Customer Surveys as needed for product and market developmentParticipate in local sales strategy development and at sales management review and improve sessionsProvide professional educational seminars and presentations for A/E firms to inform them of Hilti products, their performance characteristics, applications, and product limitationsProvide competent recommendations to engineers, architects, and other designers on specific applications using sound engineering judgment; educate specifier on technical advantages of Hilti solutions not covered by test dataProvide field testing to determine appropriate capabilities in situations not covered by test dataReview project specifications or calculations for engineers and architects; Utilizing software provided by Hilti, maintain accurate records of contacts and specifications; coordinate with salesforce to ensure that key opportunities are capitalized onCreate and coordinate jobsite management within CRM system utilizing Hi Site; includes creation of specific jobsites, applications, and active participation in the monthly sales management meetingsCommunicate application specifications with design community to sales team utilizing CRM system, assigning tasks and action items to applicable Account Managers for conversion of specification to saleMaintain and update regional fact-base and contacts of designers, influencers, and code officials Work with local/regional code and approval agencies to obtain necessary approvalsUnderstand construction methods and local building codes, as they relate to Hilti productsActive in local organizations of the design and construction community, i.e. CSI, ASCE, Structural Engineer's AssociationBachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required; Knowledge of construction methods and practices preferred~2 years minimum experience in engineering/construction role preferredIn addition to a competitive base salary and exciting bonus potential, we offer a robust benefits package including a generous paid time off policy that includes vacation, personal days, health & wellness, and 2 days per year to give back in your local community, paid family leave, educational reimbursement, 401(k) matching, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a variety of other benefits to fit the needs of our employees.The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills sets; experience and training; A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,000-$107,000 with bonus at target of $16,200.Hilti is a global leader in construction innovation, with more than 34,000 team members across 120 countries.
