Y Camp Counselor - West Park

We are looking for fun and creative Seasonal Camp Counselors!Do you love spending time with children of all ages? Was your time at summer camp a cherished memory? Would you like to share your experiences and knowledge to make a real difference in the lives of those around you?As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor you are responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of our camp activities. This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of May and runs through mid-August.Invitations to participate in the preliminary on-line video interview will be sent by email.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredAt least 18 years of age.1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred.Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc.Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.We conduct a comprehensive background check for all employees who work with children and youth.About YMCA of Greater Cleveland: Our vision is to be the premier community-based, charitable organization that embraces collaborations to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
