We offer a top-of-the-line full benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness program, and paid vacation and holidays.The Project Engineer will need to be competent with building and/or analyzing CPM schedules, including documentation of scheduling changes and conflicts. In addition, the ability of analyzing specifications, plans, and related documents to prepare cost estimates and change orders for asphalt paving projects. Proficient and experienced in serial letter writing and providing official written construction notices. This position is full-time, non-exempt and will require extended hours, including nights and weekends.IF YOU....• Have experience with invoice processing, cost reposting, and maintaining positive customer relationships.• This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in documentation, along with effective written and verbal communication skills.• Actively promote safety in all aspects of the entirety of the project including bidding, planning, and execution.• Exhibit effective leadership, problem solving, decision making, and organization skills.• Manage time efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.• Continuously strive on improving customer satisfaction.• Has familiarity with preparing thorough, accurate and timely estimates for both public and private sector projects, and the development of clear written proposals and supporting correspondence.• Maintain a professional and respectful approach with customers, subcontractors, and employees.• Highly skilled at building and maintaining relationships.RequirementsA 4-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field is a plus but not required. 2 years of related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Paving experience desired, but not necessary. Must pass pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana) and possess/maintain a driving record appropriate for the position.WAGE & BENEFIT INFORMATIONThe full salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000. People entering this job typically start between $70,000 to $85,000, depending on direct professional experience, education, qualifications, and geographic location.Lakeside Industries, Inc. provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time Admin employees (and their families) that includes medical with prescription coverage, HSA/FSA, dental, vision reimbursement program, Life/AD&D, LTD, 401k (with employer matching plus discretionary Company Profit Sharing contributions), 128 accrued hours of PTO, extended illness time accrued at five (5) days per year up to a maximum of 200 hours, EAP, wellness program, and eight (8) paid holidays.
