Details Short-term acute care hospital with 110 staffed beds Medical/Surgical unit serving a general medical and surgical patient population Patient ratios of 1:5-6 Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30) Every third weekend rotation required Holiday rotation based on department needs Floating required to other units including surgical and telemetry, as well as to a sister campus as needed Charting via Epic (experience required) Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements Active MO RN license or Compact RN license valid in Missouri required at time of consideration Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required Experience with Epic EMR required Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Some initial orientation sessions will occur on weekdays due to class availability No RTO permitted during the first week of orientation; no more than 7 days of RTO allowed per 13-week contract Light gray/silver scrubs required Free parking available on-site Chemotherapy administration and charge nurse experience are preferred skills Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Travelers may remain for up to 18 months before requiring a 3-month break in service American Traveler Job ID P-688378.
