Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Job Description Job SummaryThe Licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and/or residential settings. This position requires strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Work EnvironmentConstruction sites, industrial facilities, or residential projects. Exposure to electrical hazards, heights, and varying weather conditions. May require overtime, weekends, or on-call work.Key Responsibilities· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings· Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements· Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions· Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance· Install conduits, panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and controls· Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used· Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulationsQualificationsValid driver's license or ID· Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Texas)· High school diploma or GED required· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment· Ability to read blueprints and technical documents· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills· Ability to work independently and in a team environmentExperience Requirements* 3-5+ years of experience in electrical construction or maintenance preferred* Experience in commercial/industrial electrical work preferredSkills & Abilities· Strong attention to detail· Good communication skills· Physical ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces· Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments· Time management and organizational skillsCompany DescriptionWe are a family owned and operated business that can handle all of your electrical needs no matter how big or small.
