Job DescriptionCommercial Roofing EstimatorA highly regarded contractor is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their team. This position offers a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits, and an attractive bonus program.Primary Responsibilities of the Commercial Roofing Estimator:Prepare accurate and thorough job estimates.Assess project labor, material, and time requirements by reviewing proposals, blueprints, written specifications, and related documents.Perform blueprint reviews and take-offs.Solicit bids from subcontractors.Collect subcontractor pricing and conduct scope reviews.Evaluate subcontractor bids against bid documents and plans to ensure all aspects of the project are covered.Calculate costs for subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials.Work closely with clients to help them meet project budget goals by evaluating plan details, suggesting alternative materials/finishes, and proposing different building methods.Produce profit and loss (P&L) reports.Qualifications for the Commercial Roofing Estimator:At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Roofing Estimation.Proficiency in EDGE or similar estimating software.Solid understanding of commercial roofing documentation.General contracting knowledge.Ability to write and review contracts.Familiarity with various roofing systems, materials, construction processes, and theories.Capable of identifying, correcting, and reporting unsafe conditions in line with company policies and OSHA standards.Apply now to join our team as the next Commercial Roofing Estimator!
