Job Description Quantity Take-offs: Utilize digital tools to perform detailed take-offs for various architectural and MEP trades. Subcontractor Outreach: Assist in managing the bid invite process and follow up with subcontractors to ensure full coverage on all bid days. Scope Leveling: Analyze and compare subcontractor proposals to identify "apples-to-apples" pricing and potential scope gaps. Document Control: Organize and maintain project drawings, specifications, and addenda within the company's project management database. The Successful Applicant Early Career Foundation: 2-5 years of experience in estimating or junior project management within the NJ/NY commercial construction market. Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in digital takeoff software (such as On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or Procore) and strong Excel skills. Communication Skills: The ability to professionally engage with subcontractors and vendors to clarify project requirements. Detail Orientation: A high level of precision and the ability to manage multiple bid deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy.
