BIM Manager

Job Summary:Budlong is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager to strengthen our MEP project delivery and coordination workflows. This role will work closely with internal engineering teams and offshore partners to ensure high-quality BIM execution, efficient coordination, and consistent processes across projects.This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role with strong influence on design quality, collaboration, and BIM standards.Key Responsibilities:BIM Coordination & Project SupportLead BIM coordination for MEP projects across design and construction phasesManage clash detection, coordination meetings, and issue resolutionWork closely with HVAC, Plumbing/FP, and Electrical engineers to align design intent with BIM modelsReview BIM models for quality, constructability, and compliance with standardsStandards, Processes & QA/QCEstablish and enforce BIM standards, templates, and best practicesReview models and drawings produced by internal and offshore teamsEnsure consistency across projects and disciplinesSupport continuous improvement of BIM workflows and processesCollaboration & CommunicationAct as the key point of contact between:US engineering teamsOffshore BIM/engineering teamsExternal consultants and contractorsParticipate in regular coordination and design review meetingsProvide clear direction, feedback, and priorities to project teamsTechnology & ToolsSupport the adoption of new BIM tools, automation, and coordination workflowsAssist in evaluating and implementing process enhancements related to BIM and digital deliveryRequired Qualifications:6+ years of experience in BIM coordination or BIM management (MEP-focused)Strong hands-on experience with:Autodesk Revit (MEP)Navisworks (Manage)Solid understanding of MEP systems and construction workflowsExperience coordinating across multiple disciplines and stakeholdersStrong communication and leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with offshore/global delivery teamsFamiliarity with US codes and construction practicesExposure to large or complex commercial/institutional projectsInterest in BIM automation, standardization, or digital transformationEqual Opportunity Statement for Employment:Budlong provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
