Overview In this role you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure data solutions for federal programs. You will partner with data scientists, analysts, and government stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across mission-critical systems. The position emphasizes secure, compliant cloud data architectures and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data pipelines that support government missions. This is a remote role with potential on-site and travel to the DC area, offering meaningful impact in ensuring data quality and governance. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for large-scale federal data systemsDevelop and optimize cloud-based data architectures in AWS or Azure (S3, Redshift, RDS, Databricks, Synapse)Integrate structured and unstructured data from government and third-party sourcesEnsure data quality, availability, and performance across systemsSupport ATO, RMF, and federal security documentation and audit processesCollaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, IaC, and deployment automationTranslate business and mission requirements into scalable technical solutionsProduce and maintain technical documentation for data flows, pipelines, and architecturesParticipate in Agile ceremonies and work with cross-functional teams Key requirementsActive Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility2+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise data solutions in federal or regulated environmentscollaborationcommunicationability to work in cross-functional teamscloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)data modeling techniquesETL/ELT processes
