Oversee supplier management activities, including performance evaluations, relationship building, and resolving supply issues promptly. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure inventory management aligns with production schedules using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards while maximizing value for the organization.Experience Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of ERP systems for procurement and inventory management. Demonstrated ability in sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management to achieve strategic objectives. Familiarity with supply chain management principles including logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance metrics. Excellent negotiation skills complemented by a thorough understanding of pricing strategies and contract law. Experience in managing procurement teams and collaborating cross-functionally to meet organizational needs.
