Sign Production Specialist/Installer

Job Description: Full-time/benefits/bonusSign Production Specialist/Installers work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphic products for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs, which includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl according to written instructions and under general direction. You must also mount and/or laminate prints, proofread signs, and conduct quality assurance to ensure the efficient production of quality, accurate signs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, with problem solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.RESPONSIBILITIESFollows a layout to place computer-generated vinyl or full color graphic images on a pre-determined substrate or mediumPrepares substrates for application, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinyl applicationWeeds excess vinyl from computer cut imagesWorks in the field performing installations to vehicles, building interiors and exteriorsPerforms quality assurance measures pre- and post-productionPerforms finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed piecesReports inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partnerHelps unload raw materials and cleans and maintains storage areasWorks on different projects simultaneouslyEstablishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departmentsFollows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codesQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferredValid Driver's LicenseStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality workAbility to use light power equipmentAble to stand for long periods of timeMust have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrateAble to use light power equipmentBENEFITSHealth Insurance Plan401K PlanPaid Vacation and HolidaysPerformance BonusTeam Bonding EventsWeekends Off!Compensation: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
