GRASS CUTTER - PART TIMEPay: $12.00 per hourGENERAL PURPOSEPerforms outdoor grounds maintenance for the City of Wheeling, ensuring safe and well-maintained public spaces.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMow and maintain grass in city-owned areas.Operate and maintain grounds equipment, including cleaning, greasing, and washing; report any maintenance issues.Follow all work zone safety procedures.WORK ENVIRONMENT* Primarily outdoor work in all weather conditions.* Exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, heat, cold, and wet/humid conditions.PHYSICAL DEMANDSRegular use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment.Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
