Flexsizer Operator
Flexsizer OperatorA Flexsizer Operator is tasked with the successful pre-op, set-up, and operation of the flexsizer/ham portioner machine, including all support equipment associated with the line. The successful candidate should possess mechanical aptitude, be able to troubleshoot issues, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the department lead/supervisor.Must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision.Must work as a team player, ensuring standard operating specifications are achieved and in a safe/efficient mannerCommunicate well with other team membersAssist in other areas as assigned by lead, supervisor or manager.Must follow Company's GMP's, SOP's, plant rules, other policies and codes of conduct.Must be able to follow written and oral instructionsStrive to satisfy the requirements of both internal and external customersOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Employee is required to work in cold, damp environment.Work with minimal supervisionMust have basic oral and written communication skillsAbility to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move 50-75 pounds (with assistance, when required)Available to work a Monday to Friday schedule, with weekend work as dictated by production needsBe at least 18 years oldInternal applicants only: Must have less than 7 occurrences and not been awarded a higher rated job in the last 6 months.
