Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Clinton, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,030 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Clinton, Maryland, 20735! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC/ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night, Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU required License: Must possess an active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surge as needed. Every other weekend required: 6 weekend shifts in a six-week period. Description: The position requires working in both the IMC and ICU. ICU experience is essential for candidates. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The registered nurse will be involved in patient care across multiple units. Candidate must be comfortable with a varied patient load. Standard patient ratios are 4:1 for days and nights. No time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. RTO must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be adjusted later. Candidates are required to provide two supervisory references. All candidates must complete required compliance modules before starting the role. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients with common diagnoses in cardiac, neuro, and respiratory categories. Additional unit support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others. Special equipment used in this role may include ventilators and non-titratable drips. The registered nurse will manage various nursing tasks, including blood product administration and care of ventilated patients.
