He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.Required Qualifications:Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. OrNational Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.6 months of experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.Preferred Qualifications:1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
