Apply for tomorrow's opportunity today, with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for a Assembler in Gardena, CA.As an Assembler you will:Assemble and disassemble gearboxes, accessory units, and driven equipmentPerform complete rebuilds and overhauls of gearboxes and assembliesSet up and operate balancing machines to ensure components meet tolerance specificationsRemove material as required to achieve proper balanceBuild complete gearbox systems before and after testingInterpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and written instructionsUse a variety of hand tools, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentInspect parts for wear, damage, and compliance with specificationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentDocument work performed and report any issues or discrepanciesThis is a Full-Time opportunity. Schedule: Monday - Friday - 2pm to 10:30pm. The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)Experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or repair (gearboxes or rotating equipment preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsFamiliarity with balancing equipment and machining processes is a plusBasic knowledge of turbomachinery or rotating equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailPay Rate: $22.00 $23.00 per hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
