Machine Assembler I

Job Overview: We are seeking a mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembler to join our team in a clean, air-conditioned assembly environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience assembling machinery or mechanical components, can read engineering drawings, and takes pride in producing high-quality work while meeting production standards.

Responsibilities: Assemble small machines, components, and mechanical assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and written work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks accurately. Meet established production timelines and assembly standards. Maintain quality standards and ensure completed assemblies meet specifications. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency. Follow established safety procedures and quality requirements. Requirements1–3 years of experience in automotive, machine shop, mechanical assembly, or a related field. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail. Ability to follow written instructions and meet production deadlines. Good organizational, time management, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a machine tool technology, machinist apprenticeship, or trade school program.
