We are an innovative pioneer in the fields of ventilators, automated pipetting, sample management and in the development of process sensors.At our site in Sweden, we sell state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in the biopharmaceutical, chemical and brewery industry, as well as pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical and food industry through to cell and DNA research.How you can make a differenceUnderstand customer needs by analyzing scientific workflows, assays, and challenges to identify suitable automation opportunitiesDesign, develop, and program automation methods for Hamilton liquid handling systems in alignment with customer specifications and company standardsImplement, test, and optimize workflows to ensure reliable, reproducible, and high-quality resultsManage project planning and communication to secure timely delivery and a strong customer experience throughout the project lifecyclePrepare and maintain user requirement specifications and project documentation according to Hamilton's defined processesProvide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and resolve complex application issuesDeliver hands-on customer training, demonstrations, and technical workshops to ensure confident operation and long-term system successSupport pre-sales activities by contributing technical and scientific expertise to demonstrations, proof-of-concept work, and solution proposalsDrive continuous improvement by sharing best practices and supporting the development of workflows, tools, and team knowledgeThat's what you bring alongDegree in Life Sciences, Physics, or Engineering (PhD, BSc, MSc, or equivalent)Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field-based Application Specialist or similar role, with a strong record of successful project execution and customer engagementPractical laboratory experience in life sciences, ideally within molecular biology, cell biology, or clinical diagnosticsSolid knowledge of laboratory processes, sample preparation, assay development, and validation proceduresProven competence in method programming, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting of automated liquid handling solutions or similar equipmentUnderstanding of programming principles (e.g., flow control, modular design, debugging). Experience with Python, C, or C# is preferredSkilled in Windows and Microsoft Office applications, with experience using CRM and ERP systemsFluent in English and Norwegian (spoken and written). Proficiency in a Nordic language (Swedish, Danish is an advantage)Valid driver's license requiredWillingness to travelEU citizenship and a valid work permit to work in Norway and permit for travel within the EU.Do you share our values and feel at home in a cooperative and down-to-earth environment?
