SQL Database Developer

Database AdministratorPrimary Location: Hackensack, NJ; Secondary: Minneapolis, MN; Third: Atlanta, GABased on the current funding, creating this role for only 2023. However, this will be extended into 2024 as soon as funding is approved.Hybrid: 3-days in-officeMust have:Top-3Deep knowledge of Relational Databases, Microsoft SQL server and proficient in T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS. (10+ years of experience)Design and Development of high-quality OLAP and OLTP database solutions, Data WarehousingOptimization and Performance improvements for Data Processing (Queries, Stored Procs, Functions, etc.)Additional important Technical Skills:Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQLReview and interpret ongoing business reporting requirements and build appropriate reporting deliverablesKnowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-on environmentExperience in Distributed ComputingUnderstanding of Data Security models, Row-level and Column-level data securityImportant Soft-skills:Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsProcess oriented with great documentation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsNice-to-have:Experience with Azure Data Factory and SnowflakesExperience with Non-Relational Databases (Mongo DB, Cassandra)
