Director Of Financial Decision SupportThe Director of Financial Decision Support is responsible for directing the strategic development, implementation, and maintenance of all financial decision support functions for the organization including financial analysis, forecasting, service line reporting and analysis, long range financial planning, and cost accounting. Key responsibilities include: Conducting complex analysis on large data sets and developing regular and ad-hoc reports for leadership to assist in the decision-making process Setting pricing at year end for all service codes to stay in compliance with Anthem or any other contracts and maximizing net revenue in the process Providing financial information on the hospital downstream from RHPA providers Overseeing development and enhancement of forecast models to improve organization performance and advise management on gaps of bottom-line performance improvement Assisting in identifying ways to increase net revenue and reducing operating expenses for the organization Assisting in preparation of the annual operating plan and long-range planning Creating and evaluating ROI models for business planning of potential new service lines, capital, and staffing Performing post-audit review of identified capital projects Coordinating documentation of financial improvement plans, establishing system requirements for reporting, and tracking achievement of objectives Participating in and supporting the strategic planning process for the organization through business plan development and review, service line analysis, and cash flow modeling Managing and maintaining cost accounting system to use for service line reports, reports by financial class, reports by provider, and reports by county Helping train personnel within the organization regarding use of specialized and analytical reports as well as reporting tools Assisting VPs and Department Directors or Managers with financial requests Providing financial data for consultants and reviewing their findings to assure they are reasonable Performing other duties as assigned This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary. Education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Five or more years of related experience in healthcare required
