The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting end-to-end client engagements in core controllership and finance operations. This includes activities such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report. The role also involves managing or contributing to engagement teams that advise clients on various situational needs, including first-time audit readiness, transactional accounting for acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and debt transactions, as well as providing guidance on complex technical accounting matters. The VP will be expected to conduct detailed financial analysis, execute diligence, and provide strategic accounting guidance in line with various standards.Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or professional certification preferred, and an active CPA license. A minimum of 6 years' of experience in financial consulting, advisory services, or audit, particularly in transaction-driven, capital markets, or private equity-backed environments, is required. The role demands a deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. The VP will also be involved in process design, technology implementation, and must be adept at developing data models and reports to provide data-driven insights.
