Hours: 7am-4pmComp: $55K-$62KWere partnering with a growing logistics organization to identify a Freight Brokerage Coordinator who will play a key role in managing day-to-day brokerage operations and driving efficient, reliable freight movement.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.What Youll DoOversee daily freight brokerage operations, including load booking, carrier assignment, and delivery trackingBuild and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and dependable servicePartner with customers to understand shipping needs, provide solutions, and resolve issues quicklyNegotiate rates with carriers and customers to balance profitability and market competitivenessEnsure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations (FMCSA, DOT)Maintain accurate documentation and shipment recordsUtilize TMS platforms to track shipments, analyze performance, and improve operational efficiencyAddress operational challenges, including delays, discrepancies, and back-office issuesWhat Were Looking For1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation managementStrong understanding of freight markets, carrier networks, and industry regulationsExperience working across multiple transportation modesProficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office toolsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clientsComfortable escalating complex issues when neededKey SkillsCommunication & relationship managementTime management and prioritizationAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingLeadership and team coordinationCustomer service mindset
