Tool and Die Technician

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in our team!What you will be doing:Provide technical assistance during process and tooling development to meet setup and while assuring process capabilityProduce first pieces required for approval to the specifications required working with Quality Assurance to assure compliance with specificationsProduce pilot production runs and verifies speed of production and quality of product manufacturedVerifies dimensions, alignments and clearancesExperience & Knowledge required with electrical systems, hydraulics, and millingKnowledge of Hot Runner Systems, including Synventive, HRSDiagnose problems and determine corrective actionsComplete all associated paperwork having to do with mold maintenance and PM logsConnects wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic componentsRepair, modify and/or adjust moldsPerforms required insert changes and repairsDismantles dies to gain access to and repair die componentsFabricates and repairs welder plates and supports repair of miscellaneous auxiliary equipmentPolishing, benching, spotting, grinding, drilling, machining, fitting, welding, operate overhead craneWhat you will bring along:High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical degree preferred.
