Full Stack Engineer

*** Long term W2 Contract ****** Hybrid/On-Site in Downtown Houston, Texas ***A large oil and gas employer in the downtown area of Houston, Texas is looking to hire a Full Stack Developer (Angular/Java) to join their team. This person would be working alongside 3 other developers in their "custom applications" group supporting existing applications, implementing enhancements and production support, as well as new development projects. This role is about 60-70% front end and 30-40% backend development. This opportunity is a long term, open ended contract and would be hybrid/on-site in the downtown area.Frontend skills:3+ years using Angular (Version 9+)Experienced with the use of directives, components, modules, dependency injection, and servicesState management with RxJS for processing asynchronous streams and observablesFamiliar with Material designResponsive design including HTML5, CSS3Backend skills:5+ years with Spring / Spring BootStrong background with core Java and Object-Oriented development.Proficient with the Spring Boot ecosystem including auto-wiring, auto-configuration, and Spring RESTExperienced with Spring Data JPA / HibernateProficient writing SQL queries and complex joinsPlusses:Experience with using Git and version control systemsDependency management – Groovy or Gradle or Maven and NPM for frontend package managementTesting frameworks – Jasmine/Karma, Mockito, etc.
